BODY CONSTRUCTION
External Body Dimensions:
30’ 10” Long x 102” Wide x 94” High
Internal Dimensions:

Floor:
- KB Dental custom aluminum upper and lower body rail extrusions all around perimeter body
- 4” high strength steel I- Beams with 5” flanges 5/16” grade 5 plated bolts bolted to lower body rail on 16” centers using .020 Formica spacer and Mylar electrolysis barrier between cross members and aluminum lower body rail
- (2) Steel longitudinal I- beams welded to underside of 4” steel high strength I-Beams to match cab and chassis frame rails.
- Sub floor shall be continuous 1/2” minimum FRP (Fiberglass reinforced plywood) with sealed edges to prevent moisture intrusion from inside or outside; installed with ¼” plated steel flathead floor screws on 12” centers. This floor system method creates a “no rot” floor system allowing no water penetration
Compartments:
- All underbelly storage compartments shall be 1/8” aluminum.
- All compartment doors shall be 1/8” aluminum with aluminum continuous hinge using sealed shelter-lite covers over hinges and riveted to compartment. Doors shall have compression seals on edges for maximum sealing features.
- Southco thumb pull with adjustable twist-lock security key shall be installed on each door. All keys keyed alike. This feature allows the door to seal all around with one-quarter turn of lock, then another one-quarter turn allows door seal to compress, thus creating a no-leak seal all around.
- All doors are formed to create a “pan” shape with seals recessed 1-1/2” from exterior body, thus allowing rain water to rush by exterior body and not touch door seal. This door design has passed military rain tests and do not leak.
Skirting:
All skirting shall be 1/8” aluminum and shall be riveted in place using 3/16 aluminum rivets.
Exterior Roof / Interior Ceiling and Exterior Sidewalls / Interior Walls
- Exterior surface shall be smooth white fiberglass gel-coat .014-.018 thick. ( Never needs painting)
- Bonded to ¼” (minimum) thickness exterior continuous plywood.
- Bonded to a 3” insulated foam core
- Bonded to 1/4” interior continuous plywood sheet.
- Interior walls are constructed of 1-1/2” aluminum tubing with Interior wall surface of .014-.018 washable white smooth fiberglass gel-coat. (Customer has choice of pastel colors from vendor selection)
NOTES:

- 2”x3” aluminum square tube with .093 thick wall thickness perimeter frame on 26” centers shall be vacuum bonded into ceiling, sidewall structures, and door frame openings.
- All corners shall have MCI’s .125 minimum wall thickness custom aluminum extrusions
- R-factor shall equal 21 for ceiling and side walls, R-factor shall equal R-14 for floor. (Ceiling drop ceiling panels add an additional R-factor of 2.6)
- 3” radius aluminum extruded corner cap riveted and sealed on all 4 corners
- All mill finish aluminum shall be painted two coats of white urethane to match body

Electrical:
- 12 Volt DC and 220 Volt 60 Hz AC system

Floor covering: Commercial Vinyl wood grain plank flooring
- Overhead and Base powder coated metal cabinets. Cabinetry to include chrome positive twist latches to secure cabinet doors during transit. Customer choice of colors from vendor selection.
- Interior doors painted to match cabinets
- Painted interior trim to match decor
- Ceiling: White smooth fiberglass gelcoat over dropped ceiling with 2’ x 2’ drop-in panels with R-factor= 2.6.
- Interior troffer ceiling lights shall be LED tubular type placed as required for excellent lighting
- Interior wall structures shall include sound deadening material to minimize noise and maximize privacy.
- Interior doors to be steel metal doors with air vents in lower portion.
- Interior countertops to be Corian or equivalent, customer choice of colors from vendor selection.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Entry: Color co-coordinated gel-coated Fiberglas non-skid step well entry with (2) interior and (1) exterior handrail
- Entry Door: 1-3/4” thick 32” fiberrglass insulated steel door with (2) 7” X 24” tempered glass and commercial stainless steel lock. Mounted with continuous aluminum hinge and Shelterlite using MCI European design aluminum frame, drip lip and threshold and step
